MIP IP STARS 2026

Managing Intellectual Property (MIP), a leading international IP publication, has released its 2026 IP STARS rankings. PurpleVine IP has been recognized as a "Trusted Talent Firm", a designation recognizing firms with strong professional teams and a track record of quality service delivery. Mr. Victor(Jin) Yang, Chairman and CEO of PurpleVine IP Group, was once again named a "Patent Star".

First published in 1994 and rebranded as IP STARS in 2013, the annual guide covers multiple IP practice areas across more than 80 jurisdictions. The rankings are based on research including peer interviews, client feedback, publicly available case information and independent market research, with firms assessed on factors including professional capabilities, market reputation, team strength and case experience. 

2026 China IP Awards

Asia IP, a leading IP publication covering the Asia-Pacific region, has announced the winners of its 2026 China IP Awards. PurpleVine IP was named one of the "Licensing & Franchising Firms of the Year", recognizing the firm's capabilities in IP commercialization and licensing. The firm was also named "Shenzhen Firm of the Year" in the regional awards.

The China IP Awards feature firm-wide, practice-specific and regional categories across major Chinese markets, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The research process draws on industry surveys, interviews with leading corporate clients and reviews of notable matters to identify leading IP service providers across the Asia-Pacific region.
