Purplevine IP Group, a renowned intellectual property firm, is pleased to announce the participation of Mr. Guanglin(Glenn) He, Director of Transaction Operations, at the 2023 Global Automotive Intellectual Property Summit (GAIPS). The conference, sponsored by YIP Events & Intellectual Property Frontier New Media, took place from May 10th to 12th at the Shanghai Longemont Hotel. With the theme "Intellectual Property Protection and Risk Prevention and Control Helping the Innovation and Development of Automobiles," GAIPS brought together approximately 500 professionals, including intellectual property professors and scholars, corporate IPRs, and experts in automotive patents, trademarks, and brand protection.

Glenn played a pivotal role in the roundtable forum as a guest speaker, sharing practical experiences centered around the topic "Analysis of Licensing Levels and Hot Issues of Anti-suit Orders in Automobile SEP Litigation." The forum featured insightful discussions on the exploration of the SEP licensing model in China, the global perspective on the development trends and risks of automotive intellectual property rights, and other crucial issues related to automotive SEP, new energy vehicles, and intellectual property challenges and responses. Distinguished participants, including Ms. Yang Qian, Consultant of Beijing Han Kun Law Firm, Mr. Roger Tu, General Manager and SVP of Marconi Asia Market, Ms. Huang Jing, Partner of Fangda Law Firm, and Mr. Ji Yu, Deputy Dean of the School of Intellectual Property at China Jiliang University Law School, provided multi-angle analyses and shared their expertise. The roundtable was expertly chaired by Professor Li Yang from the School of Civil, Commercial and Economic Law at China University of Political Science and Law.
